The material of the implants is special titanium alloy that the body considers its „own parts”. These alloys can literally accrete with bone tissue, that is, they are „organic” materials A few years ago, the production of implant toppings and screws made of zirconium was started with a material called zirconium-dioxide. With these metal free materials, it is possible to replace aesthetically highly important teeth (for example, molars).
Tooth implantation is the most up-to-date dental discipline, using the technology of the 21th century. Implantation technologies developed over several decades ensures that treatments are hygienic and that no patient has to worry about the danger of rejection. With the appearance of the 3D CAT scan, the implantologist can peer into the bone before surgery. The CAT scan provides help with exploring the important vein and nerve routes, and also enhances the security of the process of implantation. Like the placement of implants, the 3-D CAT scan is done in Budapest as well.
Implantation can be done in the case of solo tooth losses, when only one tooth is missing. Even the loss of one tooth can change the function and aesthetics of the whole mouth as one unit. If there are intact teeth adjacent to the lost tooth, the best solution to this problem is tooth implantation.
When preparing bridge implants, tooth implantation is often necessary, so that the fixed tooth replacement lasts a lot longer. Sometimes, the placement of one or two implants is necessary to avoid removable dentures.
We also apply tooth implantation to increase the stability of complete removable dentures.
Implantation surgeries are completed in two phases. First, the implanted titanium implant has to become perfectly fixed in the bone. In the first phase, after careful preparation and planning, the implantation surgery is done, that is, we plant the titanium sheaths into the bone. The operation is completely painless, due to the latest anaesthetic materials and methods.
The next phase is a healing period, 3-6 moths after the operation. The patient is given a temporary tooth replacement during this interval. In the second phase, following complete healing, we place the tooth implants (crown, bridge, dentures, etc) in.
