Dr. Eszter Kovács – dental specialist

Specialist in dental and oral disease
She graduated cum Laude at the dental faculty of Semmelweis University in 2000. Following graduation, she stayed at the University, in its Prosthodontric Clinic as a resident. Clinical work allowed her to become familiar with the most recent fields of research and the practical application of new techniques and materials. She received her specialist masters degree in dental and oral disease in 2002. Subsequently, she acquired more experience working in private dental clinics and the national health service.
She considers the complex examination and treatment of patients to be very important, working not only on restoring teeth, but also on restoring chewing, speech and aesthetic functions. She is exceptionally interested in paradontology (diseases of the tooth socket and the gum), regarding the protection of the tooth socket as a priority during treatment. In line with this approach, she only uses the shoulder crown preparation technique during the preparation of aesthetic porcelain or zirkonium oxide crowns. While preparing fillings and inlays, she not only focuses only aesthetic aspects but also pays attention to the precise finish of the edges of the prepared dental restorations.
Apart from providing adequate treatment for problems which have already evolved, the prevention of such problems is also a priority for her. She spends a lot of time informing her patients and encouraging them to use the mouth care techniques which are required to keep their teeth healthy as long as possible.
In addition to being a dentist, she is also the mother of two children, with a caring and helpful attitude, which her patients can always expect from her as well.
