Dental care products, advice in the clinic
Budapestdental recommends the dental care and dental hygiene products of Curaprox® from Switzerland to all the patients.
Aside form thorough tooth brushing, the use of other supplementary products is needed for effective dental care. If you want always healthy teeth and gum, you should use other dental care products than a tooth brush and toothpaste.
In case you already have implants, crowns or prosthesis, an even more thorough cleaning is needed to continuously keep the hidden areas free from inflammation.
At Budapestdental clinic, we find it important to demonstrate the necessary dental care products and their use after every treatment or when handing out a prosthesis.
We kindly call your attention to the fact that it is you who can do the most in order to have a gum free of inflammation, and to prevent later decays. You achieve this if you keep the regular dental care rules and use the products recommended by our doctors.
The Curaprox® products are available for purchase in our clinic—at pharmacy list prices -, and we can also show you the intended use of them, if you wish.
Our most frequently recommended special dental hygiene products are the following:
- Interdental toothbrush—a miniature brush, that accesses the narrow spaces between teeth easily, eliminating all deposits there. It is available in several sizes and can be used to clean a closed set of teeth as well as wider gaps and bridges.
- Interdental toothbrush, for e cleaning of special implants—a little brush similar to the one above but bigger in size. It has been developed to clean the space between the implants.
- Superfloss—special floss developed for the cleaning of spaces under bridges
- Antiseptic mouthwashes in several kinds of concentration—the protective system of the mouth may need o be strengthened in case of certain inflammatory diseases or implantology operations. The mouthwashes we recommend do not discolour teeth, unlike traditional concentrates, and provide sufficient help against bacteria.
