Guarantee conditions
Guarantee is conditioned upon participation at annual dental screening. Final outcome of dental treatments are influenced by the patient's medical condition and oral hygiene for which the dentist cannot ensure guarantee. This guarantee offer does not apply to inflammatory diseases of dental pulp, periodontal tissue and gingiva. Guarantee covers primarily the quality of the prosthesis.
Guarantee is valid in case the patient –
- Participates at yearly dental screening examination
- Adheres to the instructions given by the dentist regarding oral hygiene and special cleaning procedures of prosthesis
- Failure of the prosthesis (crown, implant, bridge, denture etc.) occurs during the phase of mechanical fabrication.
Guarantee is not valid in case the patient –
- Does not show up at annual screening
- Does not adhere to instructions proposed by dentist regarding oral hygiene
- Does not use the prosthesis on its intended purpose (dropping, throwing, bumping etc.)
- Bites bone, fruit shell, hard object; tenses, splits the porcelain veneer, crown by a tearing movement.
- Consumes too cold / too hot dishes
- Did not have a night splint prepared or does not wear it despite of the dentist's recommendation in absence of which porcelain coverage might split, porcelain veneer might crack due to clipping force of denture.
Budapest Dental Ltd. provides guarantee exclusively over dental treatments carried out and prostheses handed over by dentists of the Budapest Dental Ltd. Guarantee solely covers repair or reconstruction of provided dentures, dental service. Guarantee does not cover travel and accommodation expenses and expenditures of other kind (e.g. loss of income due to stay away from work).

| Root-canal fillings must be checked up by X-ray six months after the treatment! Patients bear liability for any failure to return for the six month check up. Root canal fillings are regarded as successful if no deterioration can be detected around the tip of the root four years after the A warranty of six months is applicable to root canal treatment, owing to high personal risk factors. This applies to the replacement of the root filling required on the basis of the first control X-ray, which includes the removal of the first root filling, and preparing the new filling. In case any medication, laser or anti-microbal treatment is needed in relation to this replacement, this shall not be covered by the warranty. | |
| IMPORTANT! According to professional standards, root canal treatment or filling should not be performed through crowns, fillings or other replacements. If nevertheless, such treatment is performed upon a specific request by the patient, without removing the filling or other replacement, the warranty shall not apply to the root canal filling made using this method! | |
