Prosthetics whitout grinding

With the help of the American BelleGlass® technology one or two missing teeth can be replaced without fully grinding the anatomical crown. Little cassettes are made in the teeth next to the missing tooth or their fillings are transformed into cassettes. The new prostheses are fixed in the cassettes or in the place of the old fillings.

Thanks to the extremely strong metal-free Constuct® filament in the midline of the BelleGlass® bridge and the massive fixing technique, the bridge is safely held in place and the mastication (chewing) abilities are unchanged.

The metal-free prosthesis is perfectly aesthetic and it is not seen even from close that these are not the patient's own teeth. In contrast to crowns where sometimes large amounts of tooth material have to be sacrificed, only minimal tooth preparation is required for the BelleGlass® bridge.

Conditions of the BelleGlass® technique:

  • One, or a maximum of two missing molars (small or big)
  • There are remaining teeth both in front of and behind the gap
  • The distance of the gap between the two remaining teeth is at least 1,5 cm
  • An at least 2x2 mm cassette can be established in the remaining teeth

Steps of the BelleGlass® technique:

  • The dentist prepares the cassettes required that will be put into the teeth adjacent to the gap
  • This process is conducted in complete anaesthesis and is perfectly painless
  • If one of the teeth adjacent to the gap is completely intact, the most minimal cassette available will be established
  • If the tooth was filled, the filling is extracted, along with the possible decayed parts under the filling, than the gap of the old filling is changed for the adequate cassette shape – protecting the intact tissues from damage
  • If the tooth adjacent to the gap is considerably damaged, or already has a crown, the BelleGlass® technique allows a crown to be put over this tooth, whole the other tooth adjacent to the gap gets a usual cassette or an inlay
  • After the preparation, the dentist takes an impression right away, than replaces temporary filling into the established cassettes that fixes to light
  • About a week after the impression, the inlay bridge is ready, and the patient receives an appointment for the installation
  • Before the installation, anaesthesis is recommended, since this technique only provides a certain result if we use the strongest, so-called chemical glue. During the chemical fixation, the tooth can be sensitive, so it is advised to conduct the gluing in anaesthesis
  • Three hours after the installation, it is already perfectly safe to chew with your new teeth that have a completely natural effect.
